Coupling ?

DO you think coupling if funny because i watched one episode (NO Friends but i thought it was ok). Post what you think of the show.

1. OH MY GOD! Are you serious? It is one of the FUNNIEST shows I have ever seen and it is one of only three comedies I plan to have on DVD (South Park, Family Guy, Coupling). I am assuming you are taking about the BBC show and NOT the (so bad I would use a cuss word here) NBC version. Find the episode "Man with Too Many Legs", or the one about the girl who couldn't understand English (she was from Israel). Or find the one where Steve explains why men have a "need" to look at women's bottoms. All fantastic episodes! All I'm saying is that if you only saw one episode or one of the first two episodes you are REALLY missing out on the heart of this VERY FUNNY show. The fact that the traffic girl causes traffic jams on purpose when she has PMS by routing all the traffic into congested areas, or why the one of the guys is called a donkey are just TOO FUNNY for words. Just one thing: Please remember it is British and a couple of years old. But once you realize what a "torch" is, etc., you'll be fine. One more thing and the reason why the NBC version failed. The BBC version used "real" people for the actors while the NBC version used "plastic" people. The people in the BBC version are people I could honestly expect to meet. I guess I'm trying to tell you to give it a couple of hours of watching and see it you start to get it.
2. I just loved the bbc version of coupling...that show is soooo funny!!!! Yes i agree the american version was garbage!!!! I think in the American version they tried to give it the same appeal as friends and it just didn't work at all. I also like the bbc version of The Office better than the u.s. version. To me i think it was alot funnier because the guy who created the show was actually one of the chracters...so that just made a big difference to me. But yes, definately check out more episodes of coupling you won't be dissapointed :)
